Triage Process

Triage Process

At SAI, both our general practice and emergency teams have implemented the triage scoring category process. Triaging is the process of arranging and processing patients according to the severity of their presenting clinical condition and getting each patient treatment within an appropriate time frame (see the below tables for reference). This means your scheduled consultation or re-check consultation may be delayed, or in some circumstances, rescheduled due to the caseload and severity of other patients presenting.
