At SAI Veterinary Hospital, our dedicated emergency team is equipped with everything we need to find answers and solutions for both you and your pet.
We are equipped with a modern intensive care unit, multi-purpose state-of-the-art surgical suite, digital radiology, full in-house laboratory, high-quality advanced ultrasound, endoscopy, and a wide range of high-level monitoring and systematic diagnostic equipment. We have a fully functioning Intensive Care Unit with comprehensive mechanical ventilation and high-flow oxygen therapy cages for all pet emergencies.

List of Some Common Pet Emergencies
- Loss of consciousness (unresponsive)
- Choking and/or difficulty breathing
- Motor vehicle accident trauma
- Insect or snake bite
- Toxicity
- Severe bleeding
- Inability to toilet (urination or defecation)
- Injury to eyes
- Eating posion/s
- Seizures
- Fractured or broken bones
- Severe heat stroke
- Severe vomiting and/or diarrhea
Just like human hospitals, the wait time at SAI is highly dependent on the caseload at any given time, but priority will always be given to those requiring the most serious and urgent care. Patients will always be seen and triaged soon after arrival by our experienced nurses.
Emergency care is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. No appointment is necessary for emergencies, however, we strongly recommend calling the hospital prior to coming down.
Please note that routine consultations or services such as vaccinations, allergy injections, general health checks, microchipping and other general practice services aren’t performed during after-hour times.
